New Year New Insights: LEA’s reflection and aspiration
Greetings on the Language Educators Assemble LEA Newsletter for Jan 2023!
How had your 2022 been? For Language Educators Assemble, it has been phenomenal. The idea of the website was first conceived in June, and a great deal of learning was done from then till early August. I was a complete noob – I knew little about website building and have only heard of Wordpress from my days as an undergrad.
Here I am today, with a website built – albeit still in progress and require much improvement. Your support has been instrumental, and I want to thank you very much for all the feedback given. My mission is really to provide content and resources for language educators and all concerned enthusiasts of language education. Therefore, if the improvement of the website is necessary to do so, that will be my commitment to persevere.
Heading into 2023, there are many exciting plans ahead. I am currently building a resources page – your one-stop gateway to a whole array of resources for language education. Bits and pieces of the page and sub-pages are already live, so do feel free to explore and give me your comments.
Concurrently, I will still be working on the blog articles, which are my primary way of distilling wisdom from research to enlighten and inspire language educators and learners on their journey. If you would also like to contribute your expertise, do drop me a note. I can definitely do with more support to make this a success. Do also help me spread the word of the website, by sharing this with language educators and enthusiasts of language education.
